2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, and to legal residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, in Quebec, and wherever otherwise restricted or prohibited by law.
Employees, officers, directors, members, and agents of [GOATED GIVEAWAY LLC] (the "Sponsor"), [SWEEPSTAKES ADMINISTRATOR] (the "Administrator"), and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties"), and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the same household of each such individual, are not eligible to enter or win. Selected entrants from any sweepstakes operated by the Sponsor within the prior [COOLDOWN PERIOD] may be excluded where stated. Canadian entrants who are selected must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to claim the prize.
3. Sweepstakes Period

The Sponsor's computer or designated timekeeping device is the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes. Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.
5. Odds Of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period across all methods of entry, including all free mail-in entries.
6. Prize(s) And Approximate Retail Value
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded in the drawing described in these Official Rules, consisting of the vehicle or item described on the current Sweepstakes page (the "Prize"). The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Prize is [PRIZE ARV]. No cash alternative or other substitution of the Prize is available, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable for any reason. The Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty, express or implied.
Only one (1) Prize per the stated drawing will be awarded. The Prize is awarded "AS IS" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, beyond any manufacturer warranty that may exist. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the Prize at the time of award will not be paid. The Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or assignment of the Prize is permitted except by the Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable. The winner is solely responsible for all costs and fees not expressly described as included, including without limitation insurance, registration, title, licensing, and any delivery costs beyond those stated.
7. Winner Selection And Notification
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, conducted on or about [DRAWING DATE] by [SWEEPSTAKES ADMINISTRATOR], an independent third party whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
The potential winner will be notified by telephone, email, and/or mail at the contact information provided with the entry. The potential winner must respond and complete all claim requirements within [RESPONSE DEADLINE, e.g. 5 days] of the date of first notification attempt. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, is found ineligible, declines the Prize, or fails to complete and return all required documents, the Prize may be forfeited and, at the Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries. For your protection: the Sponsor and Administrator will never ask a winner to pay a fee or provide credit-card or bank-account details in order to claim a Prize.
8. Verification, Affidavit Of Eligibility And Liability/Publicity Release
All entries and potential winners are subject to verification. Except where prohibited by law, a potential winner may be required to sign and return, within the time specified in the notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where lawful) a Publicity Release. The potential winner may be required to provide a valid government-issued photo identification and, for tax-reporting purposes, a Social Security Number or equivalent tax identification number. Failure to return any required document within the specified time, or the return of any non-compliant document, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
9. Taxes
All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes and any other costs and fees associated with the receipt or use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Where applicable, the Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 (or equivalent) to the winner and to the relevant tax authority reflecting the value of the Prize, and the Prize value is reportable as income.
10. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a Prize, the winner grants the Released Parties the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide and in all media now known or later developed, the winner's full name, city and state or province of residence, photograph, likeness, voice, and statements, for advertising, promotional, and trade purposes, without further notice, review, approval, or additional compensation. Any prize-award ceremony or related footage may be photographed or recorded, and rights to such material belong solely to the Sponsor.
11. General Conditions / Sponsor's Right To Disqualify
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; (b) acting in violation of these Official Rules; or (c) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, including any purchase-and-return scheme intended to obtain entries, is a violation of these Official Rules and may result in disqualification and a permanent ban. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs its integrity or proper functioning, in which case a winner may be selected from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the action taken. The use of automated devices or programs to enter is prohibited.
12. Limitation Of Liability
By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, possession, or use or misuse of any Prize. IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, garbled, or incomplete entries, or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries, the administration of the Sweepstakes, or the announcement of the Prize.
13. Disputes And Governing Law
Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and the Sponsor, are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of [GOVERNING STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Each entrant agrees that any and all disputes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [GOVERNING STATE / COUNTY]. Remedies are limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees, and in no event will any entrant be entitled to recover punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.

15. Winners List
